Fitawrari Cyber Legion (FCL) is a youth-driven cybersecurity and technology community based in Harar, Ethiopia. Inspired by Ethiopia’s historic military leadership, the name Fitawrari—meaning Commander of the Vanguard—represents leadership, discipline, courage, and excellence at the digital frontline.
FCL is an independent, non-governmental initiative dedicated to empowering young people with practical skills in cybersecurity, programming, and digital defense. We bring together motivated youth who are passionate about technology and committed to ethical, responsible digital practices.
FCL operates through collaboration and knowledge-sharing. While independent, we actively seek partnerships with government institutions, universities, innovation centers, industry professionals, and tech influencers to strengthen training, mentorship, and opportunity access.
